OMRON'S G8J GENERAL PURPOSE AUTOMOTIVE POWER RELAY HANDLES HEAVY AUTOMOTIVE LOADS

Omron Electronics, Inc.'s new general purpose automotive relay is ideal in a variety of transportation and automotive after-market applications, including alarms, construction equipment, forklifts, golf carts, industrial equipment and vehicles, marine equipment, heavy-duty trucks and truck trailer bodies.

Available in PCB, plug-in and plug-in weatherproof types, the G8J features a wide temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, standard ISO terminal footprint, and insert molded terminals for mechanical stability. With maximum inrush currents of 100A inductive (NO) and 300A capacitive (NO), the G8J general purpose power relay is built to handle heavy automotive loads.

The G8J has a maximum resistive load of 30A (SPST) and 35A(NO)/20A(NC) (SPDT), a contact voltage drop (initial value at +23°C) of 150mV(NO)/, 175mV(NC), rated voltage of 12 VDC and an operating voltage of 10-16 VDC.
