Omron G3VM MOS FET Relays

OMRON'S NEW LINE OF MOS FET RELAYS INCORPORATES A VARIETY OF FLEXIBLITY-ENHANCING FEATURES FOR WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS

Introduced at the Electronics Industries Forum of New England, Omron's new G3VM line of MOS FET relays offers a variety of flexibility-enhancing features, including:

• availability not only in standard 1 Form A 6-pin and 2 Form A 8-pin but also 4-pin configuration;
• a variety of continuous load current connections---AC, DC single and DC parallel-at 120 mA, 150 mA and 200 mA;
• availability in industry-standard surface mount and through-hole mounting configurations.

Specifications include: sensing distance of 60±10mm (60mm) on the standard versions and 20±4mm (20mm) on the fiber versions, spot diameter of 12mm (standard) and 3 mm (fiber optic), supply voltage of 12 to 24 VDC±10%, ripple (p-p) 10% max and an IP66 enclosure rating.

G3VM MOS FET relay specifications include: output voltages of up to 350 VDC for demanding applications, 50 mA input, -350 to 350V output load voltage and maximum output ON-resistance of 35W.

These relays are ideal for use in a variety of industries and applications, including: telecommunications (hook signaling, line seize), datacom (modems) and test and measurement (automatic test equipment).
