Ideal for product identification and status, intelligent conveyor routing and quality control applications in a variety of industries, Omron's Intelligent Flag RFID System combines the ease-of-use of a sensor with a number of advantages over traditional mechanical flag identification methods. Space savings:
With data carriers (tags) as small as 8 mm in diameter, read/write heads of only 12 mm and amplifiers that measure only 98 mm (l) x 30 mm (w) x 55 mm (d), Omron's compact system provides considerable space savings over mechanical flag identification systems consisting of metal plates and sensors.

Ease of set up and Installation:
Unlike most identification systems, the V600-HA requires no programming. And, while accurate positioning of components and mutual interference may be concerns with sensor-based systems, neither of these is a factor when installing Omron's V600-HA system.

Durability and flexibility:
Data can be overwritten at least 300,000 times and can be changed on the fly to meet real-time production needs. Omron's RFID tags, available in a variety of sizes, shapes and memory capacities, provide highly reliable data transfer in harsh factory environments, such as those with dust, liquids and chemicals.

Cost-effectiveness:
Tags are re-usable and require little or no maintenance. The cost of a stand-alone system, which includes an amplifier and read-write heads, starts at only $550. Tags start at $25.

The new V600-HA Intelligent Flag RFID System can be used as a stand-alone identification system or it can be connected to a PLC, sensor controller, relay or other device for enhanced data management and tracking capabilities.

A choice of amplifiers is available: the V600-HAR91 read-only amplifier, which reads data from RFID tags, and the multi-functional V600-HAM91, which reads, writes and verifies data. Each one offers an auto mode and an external trigger synchronous mode.

The V600-HA system is fully compatible with all components in Omron's existing RFID product line, including IDSC controller, read-write heads and tags.

Operating voltage is 24 VDC±10% with NPN transistor output and transistor or contact input. The V600-HA system can decode up to 7 errors.
