Omron H3RN & H3YN Time Delay Relays

OMRON'S NEW TIME-DELAY RELAYS OFFER MULTIPLE TIMING RANGES AND FUNCTIONS IN COST-EFFECTIVE, ULTRA-SLIM PACKAGES

Omron Electronics two new cost-effective, multi-function timers for a variety of machinery applications.

Measuring only 13 mm (W) x 46 mm (H) x 29 mm (D), the H3RN is one of the smallest time-delay relays on the market. The next-generation of Omron's popular H3Y time-delay relay, the H3YN combines multiple functions and time ranges in a single unit, simplifying ordering and inventory control.

Both the H3RN and the H3YN incorporate multiple timing capabilities, including multiple timing functions (ON-delay, Interval and Repeat Cycle with ON-start and OFF-start cycles) and multiple timing ranges for accuracy of 1% FS. Short-time versions can be set from 0.15 seconds-10 minutes while long-time versions cover 0.1 minute-10 hours. DIP switch settings on the side of each timer allow users to select and adjust timing functions and ranges.

The H3RN fits the same track-mounting sockets as Omron's popular G2R relays. Omron's G70-series plug-in terminal blocks allow 8 or 16 timers to be mounted for easy wiring.

Applications for H3RN and H3YN general-purpose time-delay relays include sealing and shrink wrapping machinery, stand-alone packaging machinery, blow molding and injection molding machinery, and other equipment that requires operators to make manual timing adjustments. Since the timers are UL and CSA approved and meet CE directives for both EMC and low voltage, they can be used on machinery that is being shipped to Europe.
