Omron DeviceNet Scanners

OMRON INTRODUCES FAMILY OF DEVICENET COMPATIBLE SCANNERS AND I/O TERMINALS

Omron's DeviceNet scanners connect CV/CVM1 and C200H series programmable controllers to the DeviceNet network. Multiple slave devices from Omron and other manufacturers on DeviceNet can be connected to Omron PLCs. Neither the scanners nor the terminals require configuration software. Other ease-of-use features include: automatic mapping of I/O status to the PLC Memory Areas for easy access to network data, automatic polling and scan list creation and extensive bits and indicators for easy identification of system status and maintenance.

Omron's DeviceNet I/O Terminals interface standard analog and discrete I/O signals from any device to the DeviceNet network. These screw terminals provide 5-wire network connection and are easy to set up by DIP switch for address and baud rate. The terminals use analog, discrete, input and output types. T-Taps and Network Terminating Resistors are also available.
