High Torque AC Motor
The new BH SERIES AC motor from Oriental Motor USA
Corp. combines high output power (180 watts-1/4 HP) in a small package
(4.09" in-sq mounting configuration x 6.29" axial length). When combined with
the Oriental Motor parallel shaft BH6G gearhead, the gearmotor BH16180AUL provides up to
347 lb-in of running torque. Eleven gear ratios, ranging from 3.6:1 to 180:1, are
available to mate with the BH16180AUL-G AC motor. Gearmotor shaft speeds range from 10 rpm
(180:1) to 500 rpm (3.6:1). For replacement and selection flexibility, the BH Series motor
and gearhead are available separately.
Input voltage and frequency are 115 VAC and 60 Hz. The motor draws 2.5 amps at a rated
load of 10 lb-in @ 1550 rpm. Combined weight of motor and gearhead is 17.6 pounds. A 35
micro farad capacitor is supplied separately for starting this single phase AC motor.
